Videobox reopened.
The Videobox is now back online. Some of the old files are there, as well as some new ones.
The Listening Booth will go back online one of these days. I have more video files I want to
add, and now that I finally have a dedicated server space and bandwidth isn't a consideration,
so it's just a matter of getting them done. Love that "Disco Fever" outfit CYF is wearing.

Another HKH update; some stats.
A minor update to The Bund was done - added a newspaper ad image, tweaked the review,
replaced the opening theme file so the link works again. For anyone curious, the Free Man and
Hong Kong Heartbreaker sites are made up of 418 pages of HTML, 2345 .jpg files, 336 .gif files,
64 .png files and a few other files of miscellaneous flavors. As the banner at the bottom of
the top page indicates, the entire site was written using Notepad. Click on that banner, if
you haven't - it goes to a funny (and interesting) page.

Their Private Lives gallery updated.
Better images as promised. I'm going to update the review too as this is ANOTHER slightly
different cut of the movie. That makes three so far, sheesh. Plus some other thoughts on
CYF's performance. That should go online sometime soon, I won't bother to change the date
of the last update since it will be pretty minor. Also did a little bit of clean-up on
some graphics here and there. A couple of years ago I had thought of enfolding HKH
into Free Man but decided against it, so some cosmetic changes were made to HKH to restore
its 'same but different' color scheme and page layout. "Flash, frames and Java free for
your viewing pleasure since 1999."

A [gasp!] Hong Kong Heartbreaker update.
Hey, it's only been three and a half years. Hong Kong Heartbreaker,
the Early Career of Chow Yun-Fat has been updated. A review of Bed For Day, Bed For Night, as
well as an image gallery, has been added. Better screen caps of Massage Girls and Their Private Lives
will be added one of these days.

Good Morning.
No, I haven't been asleep for ten months, just taking some time off for
other things but, like any other drug, CYF is just too hard to give up. =) Since
there are some moldy oldies from Goldig just released on VCD, expect better screen captures
of the ones already represented here and (TA DA!) finally we get to see what will surely be
a classic, Bed For Day, Bed For Night. Oh boy, can't wait. Seriously, I'm looking forward to
working on the site again and I hope you get some enjoyment out of what you find.

Anita Mui passes.
A sad end to 2003. The beautiful and talented Anita Mui, co-star with CYF in a number of films,
has died after a battle with ovarian cancer. Good night, Anita.

Added a link to the Ying and Yang of Chow Yun-Fat (excellent site) and updated the
link to download the Ming LiU font so that it works again. Sorry to anyone who tried
to use the old link. I'll be testing some other external links in the next couple of
days and fixing broken ones, but this will be the only update note on that.

new feature
Added "Chow Yun-Fat - Mother and Son" feature, which can be accessed from
the new Fan Book button on the top menu (under "Special"). This was a lot of work, especially by Cathleen and Trinia.
Special thanks to Amy Lee for generously donating the original
volume. Just this much was time-consuming and while I hope to one day
have a translation for the whole thing, that is in the future. Enjoy the pictures! One other note to the few to whom this applies: I have resisted adding Javascript dingleberries to the site, but if I have
to I will.

housekeeping
Did a little housekeeping, mostly invisible stuff. Added
a reference to Hua Mulan on the top index. A big
new feature will be added soon, couple of days. Nested tables
are slowing me down.

index page, changed randomly. Happy 2003 to everyone.
The site updates from 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 are
also available.
